The alt text is just a silly extrapolation of the actual conversation. The suggestion being that the person who thinks you’re wasting your time with Christianity doesn’t understand what being a Christian really means, probably due to having been exposed to things that colored his or her opinion of Christians.
Being nice is a good enough reason to be nice.
